We invite the community, breast cancer survivors, family and friends to please join us at the Winder City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 8th at 5:45 PM at the Winder Community Center as we honor October 2019 as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Winder Police Department will be onsite with the infamous pink patrol car for a photo opportunity. We ask that everyone attending to please wear pink so we can take a community photo in the shape of the breast cancer ribbon using a drone. Northeast Georgia Medical Center Barrow will also be in attendance to receive a proclamation and provide helpful information regarding breast cancer awareness. We will take the photo at 5:45 PM on the lawn in front of the Veterans memorial then move inside the community center for the council meeting. Light refreshments will be served inside the Winder Community Center. Please join us for this special event!
