Come join the City of Winder Fire Department for the 5th Annual 9/11 Memorial XC 5K and Fun Run. This event will help raise money for the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation.

The XC 5K & Fun Run start/finish will take place in beautiful Fort Yargo State Park at 210 South Broad Street in Winder. The 5K will be along the roadway as well as through the trails of Fort Yargo. The Fun Run will be along the roadway. Come join the fun and help us raise money for the Burn Foundation!

The Fun Run will be at 5:30pm and the XC 5K will begin at 6:00pm. Awards Presentation to follow 5K.

AWARDS: OVERALL MALE / FEMALE FIREFIGHTER Overall Male/Female runners and the Overall Masters Male/Female runners. Age group awards will be given 3 deep in standard age groups from 10 and under to 75 and over.

Goodies: Dri-Fit shirts are guaranteed to all preregistered participants and as supplies last for race day registrants. There will be plenty of fruits, fluids and other munchies, plus a display of fire trucks.

Registration: 5K Registration is $20.00 prior to August 21st 2016 and $25.00 afterwards until race day. Preregistration will end on September 5th, 2016. Fun Run Registration is $15.00 prior to August 21st 2016 and $20.00 afterwards until race day. Preregistration will end on September 5th, 2016. Online Registration is available at ACTIVE.COM.
